Classified Staff Vacancies: Persons interested in completing an application for classified staff positions in the Boyertown Area School District may download the classified staff application from this site, contact the District Human Resources Office to request an application, or pick up an application at the District's Education Center located at 911 Montgomery Ave, Boyertown. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Applications submitted to the Human Resources Office will be reviewed for employment consideration. Every effort will be made to secure the best qualified applicants who possess the education, experience or qualifications for open positions. Interviews will be held with those applicants who best meet the qualifications for the positions only when permanent vacancies are available.
Important Clearance Information: FBI Federal Criminal History Records for Prospective Employees. Act 114 of 2006, Section 111 of the Public School Code was amended effective April 1, 2007. All student teachers (participating in classroom teaching, internships, clinical or field experience) and prospective employees (including but not limited to administrators, teachers, substitutes, custodians, cafeteria workers, office employees) of public and private schools, Intermediate Units and area vocational-technical schools, including independent contractors and their employees and bus drivers, who have direct contact with children, must provide to their employer a copy of their Federal Criminal History Record that cannot be more than one (1) year old. This applies to employees hired on or after April 1, 2007. Employees hired prior to April 1, 2007, are only required to provide the Federal Criminal History record if they have lived outside of the state for at least two years immediately preceding their application for employment. In addition to the Federal Criminal History record, the district also requires all prospective employees to provide a PA Criminal History Record and a PA Child Abuse History Clearance. These clearances cannot be more than one (1) year old. This applies to all employees.
